Awildian is the brainchild of two scientists. They’ve combined their scientific know-how with the Coromandel wilderness and distilled an award-winning Gin. The journey of Awildian begins at the Atuatumoe/Sleeping God Canyon, where the wild water is sourced. It is then married with a curation of botanicals that is either locally foraged or picked from the finest growing regions from around the world. Lastly, using the knowledge of how to balance elements of imagination and reason, science and magic, the two scientists created a formula that perfectly captured the essence of the Coromandel wilderness.
The logomark superimposes the symbol for Atom and the planetary symbol for Earth, depicting the harmonious relationship between science and the untamed land. A circle die-cut is designed onto the front of the label, allowing for a tactile experience. It invites the bottle holder to peer through the window and explore the map within. In addition, with the bottle tilted at the right angle, the refraction of the glass and liquid illuminates the silver metallic lines of the topography. All of which emulates a sense of discovery, magic and wonder that embodies the spirit of Awildian.
